In order to support random/floating pools of stateless desktops and shared PCs, Ceedo’s Desktop Layering solution performs a boot-like operation at logon, emulating the natural sequence of services start-points, even if they include drivers and services which are meant to start during early boot stages.

Using a patent-pending descriptor-attaching system, Ceedo automatically “colors” each request made to the Kernel, and causes the system to manipulate the requests on-the-fly, without needing a tediously configured thumb-rule engine to decide which components should be redirected to which destinations.
