Can I install Visual Studio on Ceedo?
Unfortunately, since Ceedo's application virtualization technology is inherently incompatible with software debuggers, there is no possibility of installing Visual Studio (or any other programming platforms, as far as we know) on Ceedo.
Since this is a core infrastructure issue we have no plans at this time to enable this functionality.

Does Ceedo support Java?
Ceedo does not currently support the Java Runtime Environment. We are working to incorporate support for Java in future versions of Ceedo Personal.

Does Ceedo support Microsoft Access?
Microsoft Access is not currently certified to run on the Ceedo platform, but we are working to prepare it for certification. It will be available in the future for Ceedo Personal as a Profiled Application, just like Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

How do I stop the welcome screen from appearing?
· Open the easy-access menu by clicking the Open Ceedo button.
· Select Options.
· In the Advanced tab, type in the new drive name in the Name field.
· Click OK.

I removed my USB drive without clicking on the Eject button first. Can this damage my USB drive or affect its functionality?
Yes. Failure to safely eject the drive by clicking on the Eject button before removing it may permanently damage it.
After you click the Eject button on Ceedo Personal, it is important to wait for the Ceedo Personal declaration that it is safe to remove the hard drive.
If your USB drive continues to work even after you have unsafely ejected it from your computer, remember next time to:
- Click the Eject button
- Wait for Ceedo Personal to declare it is safe to remove it.

Why can some programs be run on from Ceedo Personal and from the host PC at the same time, and others can’t?
The reason for this has to do with the way each specific program operates. Some software applications allow several instances to be opened and some programs allow only one instance to be opened.
It should be noted that programs running on Ceedo Personal behave the same as they would if running on a standard computer operating system. So, for programs such as Firefox, Opera, PowerPoint, etc, that allow only a single instance to be opened, you will have to shut down the host’s instance before running the program on your Ceedo Personal.

Ceedo Personal has a Programs Directory which contains a huge variety of applications to choose from, such as browsers, instant messengers, e-mail clients, games, and many others.

Which versions of Windows does Ceedo Personal support?
Ceedo Personal supports Windows 2000, XP, 2003 (Supports SP2) and Vista. Earlier versions of Windows are not supported.

Will Ceedo run on my laptop?
Yes. Ceedo can be used on any computer, provided it meets the minimum operating requirements and is running Windows 2000 or later.
