Vista Aero glass issue Due to limitations in Vista, in the Aero theme Glass mode (transparent) the border color and Ceedo titlebar icon indicating that a process is running under Ceedo will not appear. The user can still use the system tray indicator to know if a window is running under the Ceedo environment.
Back to Top Uninstalling Ceedo issue In Vista, after uninstalling Ceedo the AutoRun shell extension menu still appears until the drive is ejected.
Back to Top Office 2007 issue Running Office 2007 is not currently supported on Windows XP. Office 2007 is fully supported in Windows Vista.
Back to Top User on Vista issue The following limitations apply when Ceedo is running on Windows Vista:
- If the user is logged on as a regular (limited) user installing programs from the Programs Directory will not be possible. Running programs will not be affected. Since Outlook Express is no longer available on Windows Vista (it was replaced by Windows Mail), it will not be accessible as a profiled application in Ceedo. Users who choose to use Outlook Express can still do so on XP and 2000, or they can use a carried e-mail client such as Thunderbird.

Back to Top Administrative issue In Vista, if you have active more than one user with administrative rights – on some cases, certain applications will create their desktop shortcut on the host’s desktop or toolbar.
Back to Top Host Machine issue In Vista, if an Internet Explorer is open on the host machine Ceedo will open the links from the welcome page unhooked.
