Can Ceedo Personal run on my IPod?
Yes, Ceedo Personal can be installed on an iPod. In fact, an iPod is probably one of the fastest ways to use Ceedo Personal as it has excellent read/write and connection speed.
Ceedo Personal can be installed on and run from any removable device which can be detected by Windows and assigned a drive letter, including all types of pocket hard drives, music players, USB flash drives and even digital cameras.

Can I use Ceedo Personal without an active Internet connection?
Though Ceedo Personal requires an active Internet connection for most of its basic functions, and particularly for program installation and automatic updating, once installed and set-up (assuming that programs were installed from the online Programs Directory while an Internet connection was available) it should work fine on a computer without Internet connectivity.

Can I use my Ceedo Personal on more than one drive?
Users with more than one portable drive can receive up to 3 additional licenses, at no extra charge, with their purchase of a single license for Ceedo Personal. If you need additional licenses after that you will have to purchase them separately.
To get another license, you must install the trial version of Ceedo Personal on the new drive and click Buy Now. In the Ceedo Personal payment page, enter your purchase order number as your Certificate Code (make sure you use the same e-mail address you used for purchasing). We will then send you a new license file.
This procedure is necessary because the purchase process transmits the unique details of your USB flash drive which are required for license generation. After you receive your license file, you will be able to import the license into the new drive.

Ceedo Personal is not designed to run on the Linux operating system. We do not have any plans to develop a Linux version of Ceedo Personal in the foreseeable future.

Does Ceedo Personal support Microsoft Outlook and Exchange?
Support for Microsoft Outlook, including Exchange mode, is planned to be incorporated into the Ceedo Personal platform later this year. This support will likely be offered as an add-on to Ceedo Personal which will extend support to Outlook as a Profiled Application.
Profiled Applications are programs that can commonly be found on Windows-based PCs, and therefore do not have to be installed and carried in full on your portable drive. For these applications, Ceedo Personal carries only the preferences, user settings or Profile, and allows you to launch them from the host machine with the Ceedo Personal user profile applied.

How do I eject my Ceedo Personal drive?
You must always properly eject your Ceedo Personal drive before unplugging it from the computer. To eject Ceedo Personal, click the Eject button on your Compact Bar. Ceedo Personal will then attempt to close the programs and folders that you have opened from Ceedo Personal. You will be notified when it is safe to remove the drive from the computer.
You can also eject Ceedo Personal by selecting Eject from the Ceedo Personal tray icon popup menu.

How do I exit Ceedo Personal without ejecting my drive?
To close Ceedo Personal, select Exit from the Ceedo Personal tray icon popup menu.
Note that closing Ceedo Personal this way allows you to access your drive; it does not eject your drive, so it is not safe to remove it yet. To safely remove your drive after you have closed Ceedo Personal, use the Safely Remove Hardware option:
· Double-click the Safely Remove Hardware system tray icon
· Select the drive you want to eject and click Stop.
· Once Windows has notified you that it is safe to remove your drive from the computer, unplug it.
Note: Ceedo Personal automatically closes all running windows, programs, web pages and folders when shutting down. If a program cannot be closed for some reason, Ceedo Personal will display a standard message window, allowing you to manually close the program or to abort the program's termination and handle it yourself. Ceedo Personal will not shut down until all windows, programs, web pages and folders have been closed.

How do I hide the Compact Bar?
To hide the Compact Bar, click the Minimize button. The Compact Bar will be minimized, while the most important Ceedo Personal functions can still be accessed through the Ceedo Personal icon in your system tray.

How do I import my existing Outlook Express data into the Outlook Express on Ceedo Personal?
The process for exporting and importing Outlook Express address books is as follows:
· Open Outlook Express on the host computer.
· In the top menu, go to Tools\Address Book.
· Go to File\Export\Address Book (WAB).
· Save the .wab file somewhere on your USB flash drive.
· Close Outlook Express.
· Open Ceedo Personal's Outlook Express.
· In the menu again, go to Tools\Address Book.
· Go to File\Import\Address Book (WAB).
· Select the .wab file you previously saved.
· Click OK.
Your address book should now be properly imported.
